Castelli Nano Rain Bib Tight

For all you hardcore riders out there who make no excuses and embrace bad weather, we present the Castelli Nano Rain bib tight, a genuine rain bib, designed exclusively for cycling in the rain! While Nano Flex once stood for water protection that worked in all weather conditions, this is no longer possible in a PFAS-free world. Castelli has therefore opted for a targeted approach, and has specifically re-engineered Nano Flex EVO for wet conditions, when the roads are soaked, the temperature is low, and staying dry is more important than versatility.

The tightly woven polypropylene fabric, featuring a PFAS-free C0 DWR treatment, naturally resists water absorption while also providing exceptional warmth. Thus, it creates a protective barrier that remains effective even when the weather is at its worst. The reduced-seam construction, the raw-cut ankle finish for less bulk under your overshoes, and the integrated reflective tape with the Nano Flex EVO logo complete this cycling garment.

Please note that this is not a "Rain or Shine" bib tight – it is a dedicated rain garment that requires maintenance to continue performing well. So, wash it after every wet ride. When it is still wet after washing, apply a generous amount of water-repellent reproofer spray, and leave to dry for 24 hours. Then store the bib tight in a dry place until the next rainy day.

Ideal for:

• Cycling in temperatures between 4°C and 16°C in persistent rain and on wet roads;
• Riders who wear overshoes – the raw-cut ankle finish fits seamlessly over them.

Not suitable for:

• Cycling in dry weather – these are purely rain tights, not an all-rounder model for every type of weather.

Why isn’t the Castelli Nano Rain bib tight as versatile as older Nano Flex products?
The original Nano Flex technology used a treatment that was not PFAS-free and was, therefore, more versatile. In a PFAS-free world, that type of "Rain or Shine" protection is no longer possible.
